    On Thursday I read about the MS layoffs just as I was heading to lunch. I entered the student center here on campus and nearly ran into the Microsoft booth. Yes, it was a job fair. I picked up one of the stress ball they were giving away, licked it and then buried it deep in the pile. Then I think I started tripping…

    one time I was asked to disconnect someone from the network as a precursor to her being fired. we had to time it just right so she wouldn’t go nutsy once she realized she was Cut Off. Instead, there was the officer with the cardboard box. She went quietly.

    And, Rufus, always approach Microsoft wearing gloves. Never touch your hands to your face. And for God’s sake, don’t EVER drink or eat anything the offer you (let alone licking their stress ball…)I can’t believe you didn’t know that!
