Bamboo. Twine. Dung. Naming Trends in IT Projects.
I’m at CNI‘s spring meeting in Minneapolis. There are presentations on bamboo and twine, among other things. This naming trend reminds me of the old Tweeds catalog in the 80’s where they started renaming colors. Instead of green they had celery. Instead of brown they had sesame. And, my personal favorite: instead of maroon they had madder.
